Primary Diploma

In order to obtain a Primary diploma for the study of children ages 2.5 to 7, the following courses, Home Study, and examination requirements must be met.

Sensorial Education & Practical Life

Through practical life material, children learn basic care of themselves and their environment. This workshop also provides demonstrations of activities that help promote the development of intelligence and the senses.

Pre-Primary Math and Reading

This course presents the specific Montessori materials used for the development of early concrete number concepts and basic math operations. The second part of the course is designed for helping children to learn to read.

Primary Math & Reading

Primary Math builds upon concepts introduced in Pre-Primary Math. This course also presents activities that children will enjoy that enable them to explore the nature of the parts of speech and how words communicate.

Science & Cultural Subjects

The subjects covered in Cultural Subjects include music, art, handwork, geography, history, and botany and zoology. This class also presents the Montessori Science curriculum for geography, history, botany and zoology.
