This workshop, or series of classes, provides demonstrations of activities that help promote the development of intelligence. Through work with sensorial materials, children develop the ability to match and grade colors, sounds, textures, weights and shapes.  Using practical life material, children learn basic care of themselves and their environment and to be contributing members of a group. The course covers the use of these materials in activities designed to develop independence, order, coordination and concentration.

Discover how sensorial and practical life activities lay the foundation for cognitive development, concentration, and self-reliance. Explore the materials and methods that nurture the child’s ability to think critically, act purposefully, and engage joyfully with their environment. Learn how to foster independence while supporting the natural development of intelligence.

Early Numeracy & Literacy

Ignite the excitement of learning with Montessori’s concrete and joyful approach to early math and literacy. This course introduces phonemic awareness, letter formation, word-building, and early grammar, alongside foundational number concepts and operations. Build confident, curious learners with tools that make abstract concepts accessible and meaningful.

Primary Math provides further work with the operations of Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication, and Division. It also presents activities which help children learn their tables, as well as factors and multiplies, and work with fractions. Primary Grammar presents the specific Montessori materials to develop reading and comprehension. These include identifying grammatical parts of speech.

Science & Cultural Subjects ($800)

Exploration through the Arts, Geography & Natural World (Ages 3 - 7)
